OK, I just HAVE to share this story. It's one that will give me a giggle for days ...weeks ...maybe months!
In the wee morning hours today (about 3:00 AM) my hubbs woke up as he always does. He quietly slipped out onto our porch for a smoke. As he was sitting there he could hear my daughters chattering away downstairs through an open window. He walked to the side of the house and tapped on the window. There was no response at all. He assumed they hadn't heard it and headed back into the house.
Being the joker that he is, he couldn't pass up an opportunity to scare the bejeezus out of them. He made his way into the basement and was going to just burst in on them ...BUT..then he heard them talking about going to see what had made the noise. (it had taken them that long to muster up the courage) LOL
When the hubbs heard that He slipped around the corner and pulled his robe up on his head like a hood....and he waited....Soon he saw Aub with her phone light on lighting her path....as she rounded the corner her light hit Barn's face...She let out 3 blood curdling screams and truly thought she need to change her pants...........LOL
Now that is a funny story even if it had been the end of it....BUT this story is NOT over...
We all went out on the porch and laughed and laughed over what had happened...no sooner had we all gone back inside, Carson stuck her head in our bedroom and said "There are cops next door!!" We told her to mind her business and go to bed...Then came the light tap on our front door...OH MY!!!! They had come to our house?? What the heck!! We were told that the neighbor heard Aubrey's screams and thought for sure something horrible was happening............There were 6 police cars in front of my house. When Aubrey and her dad explained what had gone on and apologised...They all walked away chuckling... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
