Sometimes I think tooooo much

I got up this morning and after Barney left for work my plan was to go climb back into my comfy bed and snuggle up in my warm blankets and sleep just a little more. Then once he left I started thinking about this then that and I just couldn't do it. I've been feeling a little down lately as those close to me already know. I've been putting a smile on my face and going through the routine of each day but some days its soooo hard to do. I keep telling myself that I'm just being dumb; there is really no reason for these feelings. I was thinking about everything I have to be grateful for and there are so many things. I have a wonderful family and I'm loved by some incredible people. I realized that I have been thinking of my parents a lot lately and I'm not sure why. Anyway..... I climbed in my jeep and drove to the cemetery without really thinking about where I was going. It was a little chilly but I didn't notice much. I found myself sitting at their grave talking to them like they were sitting there with me. I know a lot of people do this but I have NEVER been one to do it. I go put flowers there on Memorial Day but mostly because I feel a sense of obligation to do so. I have always thought I didn't need to go there to feel close to them.... that, that's not where they are. Hmmmm.....I think I needed to go there today. I felt the comfort that they were always able to give just by being close and I felt a sense of serenity and peace deep in my heart. Before I knew it, I had been sitting there for almost 2 hours! I miss them so very very much and to feel that familiar warmth they shared so freely with everyone they knew was great!
Thanks mom and dad I love you!! YEP..... It’s going to be a beautiful day

Hormones!!!!

I watched Dr. Phil the other day for the first time. He had his wife on talking about menopause.
As I watched I started realizing that my girls may be right!!! UGHH
(They have been telling me to go to the doctor for about a year because I was "going through menopause") I had almost every symptom they discussed.
I REALLY didn't think I was old enough for this and it of course makes me feel a little sad. My body is changing and I'm not sure I like it.
I thought I was suffering from this empty nest syndrome and I'm sure I am a little but, it's much more than that. I cry at the drop of a hat for no freakin' reason. My poor husband does NOTHING yet annoys me to no end. I bite his head off regularly for nothing. I know that he's not doing anything wrong but I can't seem to help myself. I'm so very sorry honey!! Thank you for being so sweet and patient with me. I have hot flashes and I have gained quite a bit of weight that doesn't want to come off no matter what I do.
I am making an appointment right away to have a complete exam and find out if in fact my hormone are all whacked out or what. I want it FIXED NOW!
Sorry droning on and on but I guess I'm just a little hormonal

Not much going on

I just thought I'd give a little update. There isn't much going on. Barney and I are adjusting to our empty house. It gets easier each day for me.
Aubrey and Nick are happy and doing well. They went for family pictures yesterday. I think Aubrey really loves having her family together finally. They seem to be very happy. Dylan has adjusted very well and loves being so close to his daddy.
Kelly is doing extremely well at school. She loves it there and has finished her career prep portion of her schooling and has chosen her trade. She clicked in the electrical trade, so that is the trade she chose. She's excited to get started.
Carson and Marco are doing well. I'm sure glad they live so close. We get to see them a few times a week. Jace is growing up sooooooooo fast and it's fun to watch him. He learns something new every day I swear.

Jace & Grandpa having a little chat

Jace is getting so big. He talks and talks, it's clear that HE knows what he's saying (I can't wait until I know too)

Just a tiny update

We went and brought Kelly home for the weekend. She is really liking Job Corps so far. She has made a lot of friends and said the instructors are great.
Here are some pictures Aubrey sent me. She never sends any of her and Nick just Dylan. Not that I don't want tons and tons of dillybob pictures but some of them would be nice too. SHEESH!!!This is Dylan's first trip to the beach. His Great Grandma took Aubrey and Dylan, Aubrey had never been to the beach either. They had a great time playing. Aubrey said Dylan LOVED it.
He's such a big boy now. I can't believe how much he has grown Hangin' out on the back porch Sitting in his toy box. LOL silly little guy

Awwww How cute are these babies

My sister just emailed me this picture. It was taken last July at a family reunion. My gosh these babies have grown!! From left to right they are Dylan - Aubrey's little man Bri - My nephew James' sweet little girl, Aleigha (spelled wrong, I know) - Annaleigh's sweet girl, And Jace - Carson's studly little boy. These 4 cousins are very close in age. Jace was born first the end of November 2007, then Aleigha First part of December, Bri was the middle of December, Then Dylan the middle of January.
