Jace woke up Friday with a very high fever. Once the fever broke he appeared to be fine and dandy but yesterday he woke up with a hoarse voice and kept pointing down his throat saying it hurt. Carson called and I made him an appointment to go see a doctor. Poor little guy didn't feel good at all. The doctor said it was probably just a minor throat infection and gave him a prescription for an antibiotic.
He was up all night and by this morning he was struggling to breath. Carson called me and had me listen. I told her to get him to the ER. He sounded horrible.They said he has croup they gave him a breathing treatment and then took him in for a chest x-ray just to make sure. The x-ray was good thank goodness for that but he's still a pretty sick little boy.
How pitiful is this picture? He did NOT like the mask at all!!!
